AT WHAT COST? is going to Cannes. 🇫🇷✨

What started as a USC thesis film, built through faith, sacrifice, long nights, community, and a belief in possibility, will officially screen at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase during the Cannes Film Festival.

This film was made with love by people who believed in something bigger than themselves. A story about obsession, family, survival, and the cost of trying to save the people we love.

Grateful to every cast member, crew member, mentor, friend, family member, and supporter who poured into this journey. This is proof that where you come from does not define how far your dreams can go.

Day 30: I didn’t think I’d finish the entire screenplay, but momentum took over, and I kept going.

Writing days made me forget about taping the content to match lol. Those were the best days🙌.

Now, discipline, focus, and consistency are coming with me into the next season of life, the one where we step into where we want to be. But here’s the key: maintaining it.

The next chapter is about holding the ground we’ve fought for, brick by brick🧱

Day 29: Staying grounded is a choice.

In a world constantly pulling at your attention, your energy, and your spirit…
you gotta do whatever it takes to come back to center.

Because when you lose that,
you lose clarity.
You lose empathy.
You lose yourself.

Slow down.
Find what brings you back to neutral.
And protect it.

That’s where your power is.

Day 27: As creatives, we often thrive in chaos, until that chaos slows us down. Getting organized and building a schedule isn’t about limiting creativity. It’s about making space for it to grow.

And just like a schedule helps keep you on track, having a mentor does the same for your vision.

Eric has been that for me, challenging, guiding, and keeping me accountable to the standard I want. If you’re serious about what you’re building, get organized, and get a mentor.

You’ll move forward with purpose.

Day 26: You are what you consume.
So be intentional with what you feed your mind,
it’s shaping the person you’re becoming.

Day 22: You don’t know who’s watching you.
And you don’t know who needs what you’re creating.

So stop stressing the numbers or the results .
Just keep showing up.�
Keep putting the work out.
The impact is happening… whether you see it or not.

Day 21: Your environment will either push you… or pacify you.

I’ve been blessed to be around people who hold a high standard for themselves, and that standard forces me to rise.

That kind of pressure?
It’s a privilege.

But I’ve also learned you have to be intentional about what you allow around you.

Because habits are contagious.
Energy is contagious.

So protect your focus.
Stay around people who make you better.
