I’m never surprised, but continually impressed and astounded by @marinaandnicco ’s writing and directing abilities. Their feature @thiswillneverworkfilm is expertly constructed, laugh-out-loud funny and so emotionally moving. Also the cast is fantastic.

Ever since the orange dummy was elected president I’ve felt very unpatriotic, and i have a hard time feeling like the flag represents the America that I wish we all lived in.But 4 days behind the camera hearing what so many brilliant and singular queer icons had to say about the subject has changed my mind. Please watch this film, maybe your mind will be changed too…

Job well done and huge thanks to DP @tyhaft for bringing me onto the film, and bravo to director @alexisbittar and producer @bcohen6 for your boldness and for asking the question, can this symbol of our country one day represent us all?

Couldn’t be more excited and honored to bring our wacky short film to @officialsbiff next week! So cool to finally get to share this movie with my hometown.
