We are pleased to announce that Warp, the textile suspension luminaire designed by the Berlin-based studio Geckeler Michels, has recently been awarded the BIGSEE Award.

Warp emerges from a circumference on the horizontal plane and takes shape with natural fluidity. Thanks to the use of a translucent and elastic material such as textile, this suspended luminaire plays with the effects of transparency and visual lightness, filtering the light through a refined and defined contour.

Warp stands out for its balance between material innovation, soft forms, and lighting quality.

An office can feel welcoming. A home can inspire. It all depends on how space and light are designed.

Located in the heart of the city, the showroom of Profusa is conceived as a place of pause — a serene environment where the commercial is experienced through a domestic lens. Far from the spectacular gesture, the project — designed by Srta. Rottenmeier Arquitectura — brings together showroom and workspace under a single vision: creating an environment that reflects identity, wellbeing, and a way of working.

Natural light flows through the large windows, shaping a warm atmosphere designed to encourage focus, connection, and comfort. Here, working is also a way of inhabiting.

Alaska luminaires define the meeting and reception areas, while Shot Light discreetly complements the general lighting scheme with balance and softness. The functionality of Line delivers precise, comfortable light tailored to everyday rhythms.

By day, the space conveys calm and character. By night, lighting transforms the showroom into a quiet urban landmark, expressing the brand’s identity through light.

International Day of Light | Light defines the way we inhabit spaces. It influences how we feel, rest, work, and relate to our environment.

Beyond its technical function, lighting has a direct impact on human well-being, architectural perception, and emotional experience. Light regulates our biological rhythms, affects mood, and shapes the way we perceive space; therefore, a well-designed lighting product can create comfort, improve concentration, and support a balanced relationship between activity and rest.

On the occasion of the International Day of Light, at Arkoslight we reflect together with product designers such as Rubén Saldaña, Geckeler & Michels, and Christophe Mathieu on the role of contemporary lighting and how lighting design can help us live better.

Lighting is not only about seeing, but about transforming the way we experience spaces.

Shot Light and Shot Light Surface have obtained the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), reinforcing a transparent and responsible approach to product design and manufacturing.

Across 1,184 catalog references, Shot Light is manufactured using 3.60 m³ of water per luminaire, generates a carbon footprint of 14.4 kg CO₂e, and is produced with 4.97 MJ of renewable energy. At the end of its life cycle, each unit avoids 23.9 kg of CO₂ through recycling and energy recovery.

Shot Light Surface is manufactured using 3.40 m³ of water per luminaire, generates a carbon footprint of 13.6 kg CO₂e, and is produced with 5.60 MJ of renewable energy. At the end of its life cycle, each unit avoids 6.71 kg of CO₂ through recycling and energy recovery.

Measured sustainability, from design to end of life.

Last Friday, we hosted a conversation between the designer Mario Ruiz and Arkoslight’s General Manager Israel Vázquez, moderated by design and architecture journalist Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, around a key idea that defines both design and light: the importance of what is essential.

Under the title “The Invisible Design”, we presented Enso and Cyclop, two luminaires designed by @marioruizdesign for Arkoslight, born from formal synthesis, technical precision, and a clear intention to accompany space without imposing on it.

The talk took place at the @casadecoroficial auditorium, setting the stage for a reflection on detail, functionality, and how, sometimes, the best solution is the one that is barely perceived.

Thank you to everyone who joined us.

Soft, precise lighting becomes the key element in shaping a calm and welcoming dental experience.

At Dentop Clinic by Hype Project, light is carefully designed to guide, comfort, and enhance every moment within the space.

A gentle, balanced illumination creates a sense of ease for patients, moving away from the traditional clinical atmosphere, while ensuring the clarity and precision required by the medical team. From waiting areas to treatment rooms, every corner is thoughtfully lit to support wellbeing, focus, and trust.

More than just a functional tool, lighting here defines the atmosphere—turning a visit to the clinic into a serene and reassuring experience.

Luminaires that elevate the space.

In this project, Club Studio approaches architecture as a sensory experience, where light becomes an active element in shaping atmosphere rather than simply revealing it. Every surface is treated with intention, turning illumination into a tool for comfort, identity, and emotional connection.

Coco luminaires illuminate every corner with power and precision, ensuring a clean, uniform distribution of light throughout the space. Complementarily, Shot Light luminaires add focus and nuance, accentuating key areas and enhancing depth within the architectural composition.

CASA DECOR 2026 | ‘Sensory Balance’, by @estudiodiir for @laufen_spain

An immersive space that explores sensory minimalism as an architectural language.

Through the interplay of light, matter, and water, it creates an emotional experience grounded in calm, precision, and perception. Each element is presented with clarity and intention, allowing authentic materials and essential forms to define the atmosphere.

Material honesty becomes the guiding principle. Stone, ceramic, and water reveal their textures, temperature, and character in their purest state, engaging in a dialogue with LAUFEN’s technological precision and refined solutions. The result is a space where innovation enhances, rather than overshadows, the essence of the materials.

Light plays a subtle yet decisive role in reinforcing this sensory experience. Nano, thanks to its maximum output and discreet size, enhances the contrast of the exposed materials, highlighting their depth and texture without disrupting the overall balance of the space.

On view from April 9 to May 24.
