Mordancage works brilliant way when you experiment several times with the same image with contrast main elements compared to the background. Clean backgrounds could be manipulated with a better focus of every ‘touch’.

2:

Distorted main print with layers of destructed polaroid parts. Polaroid images have layers and you can try find them and re-arrange them in many different ways like you’re transforming memories and feelings of a moment.

3:

5 stages of printing and scanning within the same cropped photograph + radial pencil shape. It provides the context with a repetitive feeling you want to achieve within a texture of everything in the image. It makes destructed sense and it was a destructed sense.

4:

Body performance shot on a basic digital camera with a custom lens made of transparent elements. Then opened in the worst video player to catch the distortion of pixels. Printed out on large paper with additional shaping.

Point on the left makes the reaction be more turbulent like you’re in transition. That was the point of view.

Distortion is deep here in terms of stages and it was needed to find the energy. MiniDV video take with a portrait flow of dynamics. Opened on iPad 2 with a fixed layer of transparent paper with 10 centimeters distance from the screen. 2 glass lenses put on top. The whole composition shot all together on DSLR camera and then image is printed out + additional treatment added. Every stage was layering more primitive structure to the portrait transforming human into a distorted character.

Empty space. Minimalistic vision. 2 layers of water editing with tiny piece of paper but… Water was added not only to the printer out photograph. Man is staying in the field. Second shot was sky with several clouds. Both images were printed out and combined together front side to front side. And then water was added 2 times and inks of images were combined. Then it was fixed with a hair drier and main piece was scanned.

It feels easy to create the feeling in those touches but only when practice is permanent and details are organized with an inner effort. You can do it 10 times. I’ve put water on paper around 5000 times at least.

7:

This approach is based on connection of tape and touch by fingers. With a piece of tape you choose what to cut out of the printed image but you still can’t control the line - so you create the 9% accidental creative decision trying to catch right elements and combine them together. You’re destroying and combining together part by part.

8:

I’ve layers above the glossy print + light layers inside. And then the final stage reprinted on matte paper with creation of alternative lines.

We’re killing some logical aspects to tell that feeling is not predictable even when it is clear from the first touch.
