A week later and I still can’t quite figure out if I enjoyed the @londonmarathon. It was the biggest mental and physical challenge I’ve ever faced, and I’ve never been more nervous about anything in my whole 33 years. After weeks of injury, I felt like I couldn’t do anything but just finish it. Time goal sadly went out the window and to get round in one piece was the achievement. In the end, I finished with a smile beaming and I still got the medal. 🏅❤️
Hearing complete strangers call out your name and cheer you on is so uplifting. Especially when London isn’t usually known for its friendliness. I don’t know why marathon weekend changes the city but the atmosphere was insane, such a vibe. Nothing like it ✨✨
I couldn’t have done it without my incredible cheerleaders on the sidelines, surprise faces along the way and all the texts, voice notes and messages playing in my ears the whole route. It really shows you who your team are and kept me going in the tough moments! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Raised over £1,500 for @alzheimerssoc and all going to such a worthy cause 🩵✨
