Bollywood songs has been an integral part in my growing years. And no matter how many new songs, remixes one may produce, your heart dances a little more when you listen to Chumma chumma, Jimmy Jimmy, tunak-tunak, saara zamana, etc. More than the meaning, it’s the feelings attached to these songs, like how my mom still croons, ‘Mere Ghar Aae Ek Nanhi Pari’ to me, and it makes me blush every time.
Whether it’s raining or a family get-together or a weekend or we are traveling, we always invariably find ourselves turning to old Hindi movie songs.
I recently watched @saregama_official @discodancerthemusical , which got me so excited that I wanted to create something retro with my own perspective. That’s exactly how I came up with this idea and went running to @rohitsrivastava_ who then didn’t leave any stones unturned. We figured out everything in just 2 days!
Honestly, I am so proud of the team for giving such a fantabulous existence to my vision. 🤲🏻🫶🏻
