I realized I’ve never formally introduced myself as the face behind Angle Media, so here I am! My name is Robbie Grantham, or just Rob for short, and I love to direct/shoot/edit chaotic, unhinged music videos for heavier artists. I’m based in Douglas, GA at the moment, but really enjoy traveling to new and familiar places for my work.
I’ve been creating music videos now since 2013, directing my first video for my best friends and going from there. For the video nerds out there, I love shooting with Sony cameras and a wide variety of unique lens options. I edit everything in Adobe Premiere Pro, and can do remote editing sessions with artists to dial in the exact amount of energy needed for the video. I also create music under the monikers @violententityx and @myheartxyourhands. I have two dogs and two cats, and have been a lifelong animal lover. 🐶🐱
If you made it this far and want to see about working together, feel free to shoot me an email or a DM! I’m down to travel anywhere and can work with whatever budget you may have. Thanks so much for reading! 😁

Put together a new demo reel for 2025! Been a minute now since I changed it up and decided to extend it to two minutes to better showcase what I’m about. Let me know if you see yourself or your band in here and as always, let’s make a video! 📹

The music video for “Whispers In Omen” by @yourspiritdies is finally out. Like with “Starless,” we filmed the majority of this video at @preservingconcerts in Pittsburgh, PA. This one went by quick, filmed in just a few hours on a hard time crunch. What we came out with is easily some of my best work, and I think we all really nailed the vision we set out to fulfill. I have my own long-winded interpretation of these videos, but I’d really rather leave this one to the viewer to come up with their own meaning behind these.
Huge thanks to @flashed_by_tuna once again for all of his hard work on and off set, and for these stellar BTS photos. Hire Tuna. He’s the best. Huge thanks to @yourspiritdies for once more entrusting me to bring the visuals to life. And lastly, huge thanks to anyone that’s viewed either of these videos. This is the best thing that this band and myself have ever created, and I can’t wait to see what ceilings we break with LP2.

Our newest single “Whispers In Omen” and EP “It Is Well…” will be out tomorrow May 22nd. Pre save it now!
“Starless” by @yourspiritdies out now via @mnrk_heavy. Shot over two days, we utilized the main room of @preservingconcerts to create an eery, foggy atmosphere that matched the vibes of the music. We intentionally wanted this video to be dark, with the “story” being birthed from the minds of the band, @flashed_by_tuna, and myself on the drive up. I view this video as taking place in the afterlife, seen through the eyes of a spirit as they’re being taken by something sinister. As teased at the end of the video, there is more to come (arguably even better). “It Is Well…” comes out on May 22nd. Listen to Your Spirit Dies.

“Starless” by @yourspiritdies is finally out. This music video means so much to me on so many levels. This is our 8th time working together on a music video. 8 times is insane to me. This band feels like family to me, and I know that this team of people within and behind this band are some of the most driven and talented people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Above you’ll find BTS photos from the shoot, taken by none other than @flashed_by_tuna. His dedication to the craft and the YSD team is unparalleled, and he truly is the 6th member of YSD. He even contributed ideas to the videos and snagged that additional direction credit; can’t sing Tuna’s praises enough.
I met half of the band in Greenville, and we drove the 8+ hours to Pittsburgh in their van, packed with all of our equipment including every piece of gear I owned. I wanted to be able to do ANYTHING for this within my means, so I brought it all. Our drive consisted of a few Sheetz visits, lots of music video talk, and some reminiscing on the past. We stayed in a Harry Potter-themed AirBnB (I was in Ravenclaw room) and just chopped it up in between shooting sessions, watching dumb 80s horrors and music videos together. It truly felt like a vacation for me instead of work.
The brotherhood I felt on this trip was unlike anything I’ve felt before from a band; once again, YSD opened their doors to me and made me feel like the 7th member of the band (counting Tuna of course 🐟). We shot two videos over the course of 5 days, filming mostly at @preservingconcerts. The owner, AJ, was a godsend for us, and gave us more freedom than we probably should have had. Shoutout AJ for real.
I can’t thank Your Spirit Dies enough for trusting me to bring their vision to life, and allowing me the freedom to help shape that vision and create something that I truly believe is both of our best work to date. Soon you’ll be able to view the follow up video for “Whispers In Omen”. It Is Well… drops May 22. Listen to Your Spirit Dies. Go see them live now on tour with @vomitforth, and soon with @mugshotca and @thrownband. Full music video up on YouTube now.
