Freddy may be denying all allegations, but we have it on good authority that he is guilty…of stealing hearts, posing to the fullest, and being ridiculously adorable. He will be vetted next week and then will be accepting applications from families willing to overlook his alleged crimes in exchange for snuggles, entertainment, and unlimited photo ops.

Monty may look like a fluffy white cloud but, unfortunately, he’s not living on Cloud 9.

At just 10-months-old, he has been diagnosed with two painful eye conditions that need surgical correction so he can be comfortable and protect his vision.

👁️ Entropion – This occurs when the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes to rub directly against the surface of the eye. Over time, this constant irritation can be painful and may lead to ulcers and damage to the eye. Treatment requires surgical correction to restructure the eyelid.

👁️ Distichia – This occurs when abnormal eyelashes grow from the glands along the eyelid margin. These extra lashes continue to irritate the eye, and the hair follicles need to be surgically destroyed to prevent regrowth.

Despite all of this, Monty is still the same gentle, fluffy sweetheart we know and love. He deserves comfort, clear vision, and a future without pain.

His estimated surgical cost is just over $1,000 and we’re hoping our amazing community can help us get him the care he needs.

Every share, donation, and word of support helps dogs like Monty get the second chance they deserve. Let’s help this beautiful boy find some relief and see the world comfortably again!

PAWliday fostering is still going strong and there’s still time to give a lifesaving dog a break from the shelter this holiday weekend!
