Directed by Wong Kar-wai, the film turns the smallest moments into something unforgettable. Thanks to the elegant and careful camera work, a glance, a passing in a narrow hallway, or a walk in the rain become magical. These visuals tell half the story on their own.

The slow, hypnotic camera movements also match the music perfectly. It glides along with the sad, repeating rhythm of Shigeru Umebayashi’s Yumeji’s Theme and Nat King Cole’s romantic songs. This music and motion turn the characters' daily routines into a beautiful visual dance.
