To mark the centenary of Andrée Putman, the Studio has unveiled a Collector Edition of the iconic Mille et un Carré table. Originally designed for Jean-Paul Goude, this new iteration is adorned with silver-leaf gilded glass tiles that transform light into an active element of the design.

We are incredibly honored to announce that the table has been awarded the Bel Ouvrage prize, receiving a unanimous vote from the jury.

The Studio is deeply touched by this prestigious recognition. This award celebrates our commitment to French craftsmanship and the « intelligence of the hand » that brings such precise, timeless forms to life.

We are delighted to reveal our scenography for Bel Ouvrage Venezia | Il Corpo della Materia in Venice. Set against the historic backdrop of the 15th-century Chiostro della Madonna dell’Orto, the installation finds its breath through the natural light and the Venetian breeze.

From May 4 to July 20, 2026, at the heart of this spatial journey, our Mille et un Carré collector’s edition table, embodies the true essence of material and master craftsmanship.

As part of the celebration of the centenary of Andrée Putman’s birth, this exceptional edition is part of a limited series. Featuring silver-leafed glass tiles, it stands as an exceptional singular piece that captures and diffracts the surrounding space.
Premiered at Art Paris in April, this piece, originally designed for Jean-Paul Goude, a French renowned visual artist, captivated the French Design Art Edition sector.

Bel Ouvrage Venezia: A Dialogue of Matter and Light

We are delighted to announce the opening in few days of Bel Ouvrage Venezia | Il Corpo della Materia, running from May 4 to July 20, 2026, during the Venice Contemporary Art Biennale.

The Andrée Putman Studio has designed a transformative scenography for the historic cloître de la Madonna dell’Orto , featuring a subtle interplay of rigid hangings that interact with the 15th-century architecture. This spatial recomposition creates a poetic tension between opacity and transparency , offering an experience defined by a justness of composition and the enhancement of matter, where the light reveals more than it simply illuminates.
