Civic Season is the time of year between two federal holidays that celebrate American freedom: Juneteenth and the 4th of July. It’s a time to celebrate and reflect on the American ideals that we’re continuing to work towards - liberty, equality, and justice for all - values I’ll be diving into in my upcoming @abeanthinking video series (still hard at work bringing that to life! 🎬).

It's my YouTube channel's 10th birthday! 🎂 I created Ahsante the Artist in January of 2013, and posted my first video “Harvard Freshman Year” on January 27th, 2013. It's wild to think that I've been doing this for a full decade!

It also feels fitting that I’m working on starting a new chapter. With all that I’ve learned about being a creator, producing videos, and working in media, I know that I have the perspective to make something even cooler in 2023. A lot has changed on the internet in the past 10 years, and it’s time for my strategy to change too.

I’m really excited about my new channel Bean Thinking as it’s in the works. It’s definitely taking longer than I thought to come to fruition, but taking the time will make it even more juicy. Wishing for a bold launch later this year, and for many more creations in the decade to come! 🥂
