SALOMEA wurde mit dem Deutschen Jazzpreis als Künstlerin des Jahres 2026 ausgezeichnet — und wer sie je live erlebt hat, weiß: diese Auszeichnung kommt nicht von ungefähr.
Die Jury hat es mit einer Begründung auf den Punkt gebracht, die wir am liebsten einrahmen würden. Was als „gewählte Familie“ zusammengewachsen ist, entwickelt auf der Bühne eine ungeheure Kraft.
Und als wäre das nicht genug: Letzte Woche erschien mit „Sandcastle“ die erste Single des neuen Albums — link in bio. 🏖️🎶

The jury summed it up with a statement we’d love to frame. What has grown together as a „chosen family“ unleashes an incredible force on stage.
And as if that weren’t enough: last week saw the release of „Sandcastle“, the first single from the new album — link in bio. 🏖️🎶

Bandcamp friday coming up! 💿 Enjoy the album design of ZONAR, made by @ivania_dj . Since we use quite some aluminium foil on our strings, she chose to highlight this in her design 🙌
Her personal handwriting and the photos by maestro @fedcast_photos perfectly translate the 'research'-vibe of our musical process😍

Quite the opposite of the research environment, is our previous album Splunge, for which Ivana created references to nature for both the album artwork & stage design. This connected very well to the natural photoshoot we had with Federico at the beach, almost flooded by the waves!

On the 1st of May, 100% of album sales on Bandcamp go to the artists💙

Latent Info, das neue Projekt des vom Bass Player Magazine als „Bass Ace“ titulierten Petros Klampanis, mit dem estnischen Pianisten Kristjan Randalu und dem israelischen Drummer Ziv Ravitz zeigt nun, dass Instrumentalmusik durchaus zum Storytelling fähig ist. Sie erzählt ihre Geschichte als „latente Information“ eines Stückes, genauso real, aber ungreifbar wie unausgesprochene Gedanken, unerreichte Ziele oder Blumen im Asphalt, ungesehen und weitgehend ignoriert.
