This poem was born in Al Shindagha and brought to the world at Sikka Art and Design Festival 2024

The poem, written in three parts, can be read right to left, left to right, middle right or middle left

Endlessly grateful for the opportunity to have this poem as part of Sikka 2024. May we all continue to tell our stories

It was an absolute honor to write and recite this special poem called من هالنجم إلى هالنجم (From this star to that star) at Reaching The Last Mile Forum, held during @cop28uaeofficial and in the presence of HH Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed and HH Sheikh Theyab Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed.

Reaching the Last Mile is an endeavor that embodies the values of late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan.

I am proud to lend my voice to this cause, and as I always say, "we live like Zayed taught us how, under a horizon of everlasting hope" 🤍

بالتعاون مع الشاعرة الإماراتية الدكتورة عفراء عتيق، تأتي هذه القصيدة تحية للناس والقصص وروح التكاتف التي تدفع الإمارات دائماً إلى الأمام. من السائقين وأصحاب المشاريع، إلى العائلات والحالمين الطموحين… تحتفي القصيدة بإيقاع وطن بُني على الوحدة والثبات والطموح المستمر.

أجمل جزء في يومي...لحظات القراءة مع أمينة، نبني فيها حب التعلّم… صفحة بعد صفحة، وقصة بعد قصة 🤍📖

There I stood, as I did in the beginning this journey, in front of a grand concert piano. A poet with a dream and the determination to learn. 🤍🎹
