ADGM concluded a successful participation at the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s growing role as a global hub for capital, investment and financial innovation.

Over the past month alone, eight major global financial institutions managing a combined US$4.4 trillion in assets announced plans to establish operations in Abu Dhabi through ADGM, reflecting increasing international confidence in the emirate’s financial ecosystem, regulatory framework and long-term economic vision.

Throughout the conference, ADGM engaged with leading policymakers, institutional investors and global asset managers to explore the future of finance, cross-border collaboration and the evolving movement of global capital.

وخلال الشهر الماضي فقط، أعلنت ثماني مؤسسات مالية عالمية كبرى تدير أصولاً تتجاوز قيمتها الإجمالية 4.4 تريليون دولار أمريكي عن خططها لتأسيس عمليات لها في أبوظبي عبر أبوظبي العالمي، في خطوة تعكس تنامي الثقة الدولية بالمنظومة المالية للإمارة، وأطرها التنظيمية، ورؤيتها الاقتصادية طويلة المدى.

وعلى هامش المؤتمر، عقد أبوظبي العالمي سلسلة من اللقاءات مع نخبة من صناع السياسات والمستثمرين المؤسسيين ومديري الأصول العالميين، لمناقشة مستقبل القطاع المالي، وآفاق التعاون العابر للحدود، والتحولات المتسارعة في حركة رؤوس الأموال العالمية.

At the Milken Institute Global Conference, H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of ADGM, offered a view of how the UAE approaches growth.

He spoke about the importance of staying flexible while making deliberate choices about where to invest next. Over the years, that has meant gradually stepping away from reliance on hydrocarbons and putting real focus behind sectors that are expected to shape the future.

So rather than reacting to change, the UAE has made a habit of preparing for it, setting aside the capacity, resources and focus needed to support emerging areas like AI as they take shape.

Held in partnership with eFinancialCareers, the sector-focused event reflects ADGM’s continued commitment to advancing talent development and strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global financial hub for human capital.

With over 14,000 visits to employer booths and more than 1,300 career conversations, the event created meaningful connections between financial institutions and professionals from key global talent markets.

As ADGM’s international financial ecosystem continues to expand, access to specialised talent remains central to supporting Abu Dhabi’s long-term economic growth.

ADGM’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cross-border collaboration and support more effective supervision across both jurisdictions.

The agreement establishes a practical framework for cooperation in capital markets regulation, information exchange, and mutual assistance, while also reinforcing shared efforts to combat financial crime, enhance investor protection, and uphold market integrity.

A global technology investor, Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”), specialising in enterprise software, has secured full regulatory authorisation from ADGM’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), strengthening the firm’s long-term commitment to the Middle East and expanding its global investment platform from Abu Dhabi.

The establishment of Vista’s new office within ADGM reflects the region’s growing influence in global technology investment and innovation, while reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as an internationally connected hub for next-generation financial services, digital transformation and institutional capital.

The websites tungsten-me.com, tgst-me.com and my-tungstens.com closely imitate Tungsten’s official online presence and may mislead investors and members of the public into believing they are connected to the regulated firm.

ADGM has confirmed that these websites are not affiliated with Tungsten, and that their operators are neither licensed nor authorised to conduct Regulated Activities in or from ADGM.

ADGM has delivered a strong start to 2026, reporting broad-based growth across its financial ecosystem and reinforcing its position as the leading international financial centre in the MEASA region.

In Q1 2026, Assets Under Management grew by 57%, supported by continued inflows from global asset and fund managers and the ongoing expansion of ADGM’s investment ecosystem. The number of asset and fund managers rose by 24% to 179, while the total number of funds managed from ADGM increased by 43% to 263.

The centre also recorded significant expansion in its business community, with total active licences reaching 13,353 and 961 new licences issued in the first quarter alone.

Beyond the numbers, this performance reflects continued global capital inflows, increasing institutional participation, and Abu Dhabi’s role as a trusted destination for financial services, investment and long-term economic growth.

سجّل أبوظبي العالمي بداية قوية لعام 2026، مع نمو واسع النطاق عبر مختلف مكونات منظومته المالية، ما يعزّز مكانته كأبرز مركز مالي دولي في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا وجنوب آسيا.

في الربع الأول من 2026، ارتفعت الأصول المُدارة بنسبة 57%، مدعومة بتدفقات مستمرة من مديري الأصول والصناديق العالمية، إلى جانب التوسع المتواصل في منظومة الاستثمار داخل أبوظبي العالمي. كما ارتفع عدد مديري الأصول والصناديق بنسبة 24% ليصل إلى 179، فيما زاد إجمالي الصناديق المُدارة من خلال أبوظبي العالمي بنسبة 43% ليصل إلى 263 صندوقًا.

وسجّل المركز أيضًا توسعًا ملحوظًا في مجتمع الأعمال، مع وصول عدد التراخيص النشطة إلى 13,353 ترخيصًا، وإصدار 961 ترخيصًا جديدًا خلال الربع الأول فقط.
