Stare at the Moon UPDATESS!
THE VIDEOCLIP IS FINISHEDDDDD for the track “it burns in the back of your head.” :)))
And I was busy ofc holding back the release haha, but now it is finally online! :))
It was filmed and edited by my friend @jan_tabaczynski and I am super happy with how it turned out!
We made some cool clips with projectors and some light effects and also used material from the release performance @sadpromptengineering

It was a really fun experience and working with jan was also a very cool experience and almost too easy haha The Video will be on YouTube on the @suckpuck_rave channel!

Was happy to be a part of it again in the lineup since this is where it all started with Stare at the Moon. It was the first time performing a Song live with vocals 2yrs ago haha without mic screaming against the speakers.
It was also where I met @ffrumos back then who supported me a lot with the release!

I had the chance to play @sadpromptengineering at the Sadpromts for Palestine 2 Solievent and have my release performance there for my new record ‘Stare at the Moon’ with @suckpuck_rave!!!

I was looking forward to this for so long and in the end the waiting was worth it.
Everything turned out so nice, and I am very grateful that I could collaborate with all these people that create things that I love. 🙂

Last week another chapter finally came to a great end 🙂
I had the chance to play @sadpromptengineering at the Sadpromts for Palestine 2 Solievent and have my release performance there for my new record ‘Stare at the Moon’ with @suckpuck_rave!!!

I was looking forward to this for so long and in the end the waiting was worth it.
Everything turned out so nice, and I am very grateful that I could collaborate with all these people that create things that I love. 🙂

This release stands slightly apart from the usual Suck Puck Records catalogue — but it perfectly fits our vision as a platform for genre-defying music made by good people within the independent experimental rave scene.

aaakzt is the solo project of M (they/them), blending raw emotion, heavy bass, noise, synths, and live instruments. Stare at the Moon is a deeply personal album shaped over three years, with lyrics taken directly from diary entries — turned into songs about breakdowns, emotional extremes, and transformation.

After years of playing bass in Berlin’s underground (from Riot Grrrl punk to noisy math rock), M created aaakzt as a space to explore sonic intensity and honesty without compromise.

On the same day my record will be out on @suckpuck_rave from Odesa 🇺🇦 :)

the last months have been pretty hard. Since last summer ended I felt like I did not have any time for my friends anymore. I would have liked to give so many people more attention, but my thesis and finishing my record were taking up all my free time, apart from work and studying. There were only very few times when I had the energy to go out away from my regular schedule. That was to not lose track of the two goals I was pursuing. Sorry in case I disappeared.
But now I am finishing my thesis, and my record is as good as ready, and I am very happy with how both things turned out! :))))))
So I am even more happy to announce some conclusions!
The release concert will be on the 8.6. with @sadpromptengineering !! (thank you so much for giving me the space to do this 🙏🙏, it will get sick! 😈😈).
Aaanf the record will be released on @suckpuck_rave which I am also super stoked about!! 🤘(also thank you very much for giving me this possibility! 🙏)
This record was initially a way to remind myself of how I can be happy in this trash society and a reflection of my own actions.
Often I felt bad or a bit lonely, especially in the last 6 months, but I still went to rehearse and work on the songs every week. And as soon as I was saying out loud the lyrics, I was reminded again of why I do this, so I kept going. It really means a lot to me to be able to do this and i know it is a privilege.
But in case we were talking in the last 3 yrs and I was talking about what I do with my time, I was probably talking about this project at some point. So if you are interested in how it turned out, you finally have the chance! :)

Here is a little jam with a new device I want to incorporate in my coming live setup. It is a fun little breakcore machine that syncs with your DAW, the zeptocore! made by @infinitedigits
very entertaining in between library sessions!
but a now little update:
I am in the hot phase of my bachelors thesis (all about rye for your fancy sourdough), which is cool but bc of that I rarely find time doing music and going to concerts unfortunately :( and in the time I do have left for music rn I try to finish my record. All the recordings are finissheeeed finally :) Might send it around to some people to ask for feedback on the current mixdown but I am almost there. and then only need to plan the things around the release concert, cover art and these things!
So be ready to listen to some real shit very soon 😈😈✨️ 🤗
