Celebrating my 31’st birthday by recreating the iconic photoshoot for “Born This Way” by @ladygaga ⚡️

This album came out when I was in grade eleven and isn’t only my favourite album, it was incredibly monumental and uplifting for the queer teen that I once was💚

The elements of goth, horror, and eighties spoke to me in so many ways and not just the music- but the fashion of the era alone was so ahead of its time and completely inspired me to always go against the grain and find my own ways to embrace my own authentic individuality🎸

Through trial and error, I created ten gallons of this slime that was carefully draped on me to achieve the shapes and contrast that we envisioned👠

A huge thank you to the incredible team (see tags) who helped me bring this vision to life🩷
