POWERBUILDING 2.0:
•is 4 days a week
•is a 2 squat | 2 deadlift | 4 bench split
•starts out in a higher end hypertrophy phase and dwindles down into finding a 1RM.
•is best for intermediate level powerlifters in their offseason, or intermediate level lifters looking to try powerlifting style training. This is NOT a beginner program!
PB2.0 is different in a few ways:
1️⃣ blocks are not set time frames.
When I program for my 1:1 clients, we don’t go into a block expecting “okay this is a 4 week program, 3 week program,” etc. We run a phase until we see immense fatigue, stagnation, or regression, and THEN we deload.
This allows us to get the most out of CNS fatigue and adaptation by making sure no gains are left on the table at the end of a phase.
For MOST lifters, each program block will be about 4-6 weeks. So with 4 blocks, PB2.0 can be anywhere from 16-24+ weeks.
2️⃣. Choose your own Secondary SBD movements. I give you all the guidance you need to choose your squat, bench, and deadlift variation movements based on your sticking point, so you can customize this program for your specific needs.
3️⃣. I’ve simply become a better coach.
I think all coaches should always be adapting and learning, and I’ve done a LOT of that since releasing Powerbuilding 101, and I’m excited for you all to experience it 🖤

FULL POWERLIFTING DEADLIFT & BENCH DAY 🙂↕️🤝
I think the way powerlifting splits are broken up confuses a lot of people. First things first, there is never ONE correct split. I have powerlifting clients who do splits like mine, and powerlifting clients who prefer a full squat day, bench day, and deadlift day. It’s all about what’s right for THAT client.
But for myself, my split looks a little something like this:
DAY 1: main squat, main bench
hamstring, back, core accessories
DAY 2: main deadlift, secondary bench
quad, chest, tricep accessories
DAY 3: secondary squat, secondary (tertiary, really) bench
hamstring, back, core accessories
DAY 4: secondary deadlift, secondary bench
quad, chest, bicep accessories
This allows me to hit every single muscle group I need to with the appropriate frequency, while also allowing myself the best recovery possible!
