Here’s an excerpt and some stills from “Component 01” featured in the installation WATWT? Composed of iPhone footage, screen recordings, and film/news media snippets that have been screenprinted onto 16mm film with acrylic and bleach, then solarized. My last post from this series.

Finally getting around to sharing some documentation from my MFA grad show at @khio . “Where Are the Wild Things?” is a three channel film installation composed of the main film WATWT? and each of it’s components. “Component 01,” screenprinted acrylic and bleach on 16mm film, and “Component 02 (Nordmarka: Late Fall, Early Winter),” 16mm film footage. Three eiki projectors with various formed loops and a light box containing the screenprinted strips of 16mm film. So many people to thank, so long ago but still thought I would share. Better late than never :-)

Swipe for the main film WATWT? and some fun details.

Some videos and photos documenting my installation, “Where are the Wild Things?” at Østlandsutstillingen 2024 at Kunstbanken in Hamar, Norway. The two projector installation screens the main film, WATWT?, accompanied by a very small projection of one of the film’s components, “Nordmarka: Late Fall, Early Winter.”

Special thanks to my good friend @kamilhkak for the video documentation
