April 19th, 2021 marked 15 years since I got my first complete and started skateboarding. it’s been the most consistent thing in my life. it’s been there for me through good times, bad times, relationships, suicide attempts, moving to different cities/states, homelessness, etc. I’ve always been able to rely on this stupid toy to fall back on. (or off) skateboarding has connected me to so many amazing people and I’m forever grateful for the ones that have stuck around with me for so long. I love you skateboarding. I started because you seemed fun, and I’m still here with you because you have been nothing but that. thank you for allowing me to express myself the way i want. ❤️
