One of my dearest and oldest friends has a child that just left for college. Mandy, was the first of us to have a child and she was/is awesome at it. She always knew she wanted to be a mom, even when we were kids. I did not have her wisdom. I knew I wanted to photograph Emily for my new series. I’m calling it “You Bloom”. A coming of age and a bursting bloom right before our eyes. I love you emily, you gorgeous thing.
