We’ve got a stacked deck of performers tackling all sides of influencer culture! What will happen? We truly never know! We take the @ucbtny stage again Sunday May 4th at 7pm to CELEBRATE the unsung heroes: WOMEN IN STEM (in pop culture). We have been moved by the women of Blue Origin (we see you Katy Perry and Queen Gayle King) and by Lauren’s personal discovery that forestry is science! (Thank you Redwood musical) that we had to do a show about it!

We are taking bit submissions from folks interested in performing characters, songs, poems, power points, or whatever their hearts desire to join us in honoring women in stem (in pop culture). Real women, fictional women, women of… the future?

We literally never know what will happen but we know you simply MUST save the date! Join us for what is sure to be an educational (and hilarious) night of CELEBRATION.

We are STOKED to be back at UCBT-NY again this Sunday April 6th at 7pm for the We Stan Flower Ceremony.

“Give someone their flowers” is an idiom meaning to publicly acknowledge, honor, and appreciate someone’s accomplishments and contributions while they are still alive and able to enjoy it. (@laurenabrickman thought that Luke Perry should have been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive the year he passed away. So, don’t get too stuck on the “while their still alive” part)

We’ve invited some of NY’s funniest pop culture vultures to come celebrate people, characters, whatever that they think deserve their flowers! We’ll have characters, wacky power points, and you know our buddy @queenhattiejean has cooked up some music! Who knows what else!
