π No cap, will.i.am said everything we needed to hear at Commencement.
Multiplatinum, Grammy Award-winning artist, tech founder, philanthropist, and STEAM education advocate will.i.am delivered our undergraduate address and left the whole room thinking differently.
βHow intentional are you going to be with this technology as you unearth tomorrowβs industries?asked will.i.am Pick a problem, solve it. That solution is an industry. This is the time for imagination, and AI is not imagining. Itβs regurgitation of the human imagination. Turn that off.β β @iamwill @iamangelfoundation @fyi.ai
The mic has been passed, graduates. π€ Now go build something the world has never seen.

For Lucas, robotics isn't just an engineering discipline β it's a calling.
That passion started in high school, carried him through a Robotics Engineering degree at WPI, and never stayed inside the classroom. He helped launch an afterschool robotics club at Worcester's Forest Grove Middle School, mentored youth robotics teams, and judged competitions β all while earning his Massachusetts teaching licensure through WPI's Teacher Preparation Program.
Now he's taking that same energy into his planned career as a technology and engineering teacher, where he can spark that same love of robotics in the next generation.
Congratulations, Lucas.

Itβs never too late to finish what you start. And for Kerry Lynn, that's not just a saying.
Class of 2026 computer science graduate Kerry Lynn has been working toward his WPI degree for more than 50 years. Along the way, heβs managed family responsibilities and a technology career and never gave up on his goal to complete his degree.
Congratulations, Kerry Lynn. We see you. π #WPI2026
