π¨ Ithell Colquhoun, Watercolour titled βFlowersβ June 1920. Tate

Recognise this view? Best known for his atmospheric paintings of landscapes, JMW Turner visited Liverpool in 1831, capturing our iconic waterfront, like this sketch from Birkenhead. βοΈ
You might be able to spot some of our city's most prominent landmarks including the domes of St Paul and the Town Hall, and the three spires of the churches of St Nicholas, St George in Derby Square and St Thomas in Park Lane. Of these only St Nicholas still stands today. In front of the two domes is a row of vertical dashes representing the masts of ships in Princes Dock.

This is Peter Brookβs fifth print in his Twelve Months of the Year series, which is a quiet celebration of the changing seasons. β¨ Inspired by the landscapes of Yorkshire and the Pennines, his work captures soft, reflective moments. π

This radiant landscape by Anthony Gross captures the radiance of a sunny day, bursting with bright yellows and vivid greens. Just like todayβs weather, itβs a celebration of warmth, light, and the lush beauty of nature. π
