Concert update ✨ We’re thrilled that soprano Theano Papadaki (@theanopapadaki) will now join Jocelyn Freeman, Filippo Turkheimer and Joe Zeitlin for our 23 May recital at St Matthew’s Elephant & Castle.

Theano Papadaki is a Cretan soprano praised for her “immaculate tone” and “seductively beautiful voice”. She is a Rising Star of Voice for the 2026 Edinburgh International Festival, and recently won Best Performance at the 2026 OffWestEnd Awards for her interpretation of Poppea with Hampstead Garden Opera in London.

The programme remains unchanged, and we can’t wait to share this beautiful evening of song with you, weaving together Persian melodies, German Lied, cello improvisation, and new music. If you’d like to buy tickets to see these fantastic artists, head to our bio for the link.

Beautiful sounds from @filo_turk39 and @pianolieder. We are thrilled to welcome Filippo to our upcoming festival, who has just been named as an @edintfest Rising Star of Voice. Bravo!

A glimpse into what you can expect from a SongEasel concert. We love the atmosphere of song recitals. Close up to the audience, we can create real warmth in the room and communicate directly with the people who have come to watch us.
