🏖️ Ook voor het derde een laatste seizoen van VRT/Netflix-reeks ‘Knokke Off’ is de originele muziek geschreven door Patricia Vanneste (Sohnarr, DRIFTWD, ex-Balthazar) in samenwerking met Mounir Hathout (music supervisor) van Sonhouse. Mounir: “Voor mij is de score een deel van het DNA van Knokke Off. Zodra je een klein stuk hoort, ben je meteen in Knokke. Het heeft echt de identiteit van de reeks mee helpen bepalen.”

🎼 Patricia Vanneste: “Voor het derde seizoen van ‘Knokke Off’ heb ik de muziek laten meegroeien met de personages: donkerder, intiemer, maar altijd met een onderstroom van hoop. De ritmische elementen zijn als een klok die aftelt, terwijl het orkestrale weefsel steeds kwetsbaarder wordt. De personages zoeken verzoening en toekomst, maar de put is diep — de muziek volgt die reis zonder valse hoop, want de breuklijnen verdwijnen niet, ze verschuiven. Deze soundtrack vormt het tegengewicht voor de glans en glamour van Knokke: ze onthult het echte gezicht achter de maskers, de emoties die de personages verborgen houden.”

OFFSHŌRE has been in the arboretum of the Rivierenhof for a month now and I am very curious about your experience.

On August 11, I will take out my picnic towel and take a seat with a book and a drink in Rivierenhof from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to have a chat with whoever feels like sitting down and to exchange ideas and thoughts on how we can create connection in situations where loneliness is still too often the norm.

You are more than welcome to come and have a chat or just enjoy the sun and the trees together.
