Pagliacci's (@pagliaccisvic) in Victoria, B.C., holds a special place in Michael Osbourne's heart as one of his first musical opportunities in a new home. Now, Michael shares how this restaurant has built a vibrant community in his short documentary, "Victoria's Original Joint".

Through the STORYHIVE Anniversary Documentary Edition, Michael was able to bring this heartfelt story to life.

6 months after our first screening, Beauty In A Fall has been shared at screenings with thousands of people across North America, Europe, Australia and the UK. It wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing festival organizers who have made these events possible. We’re incredibly honoured to have received recognition at some of these events for the film, including the Transcending Boundaries Award from @nomanslandfilmfestival ❤️❤️❤️.

One of our main aims in creating this film was to share Jewlz’ story with the hope of creating more inclusive spaces in mountain culture and further discussion on how we can support belonging in these spaces. Thank you everyone who has supported this film from concept through to where we are now.

We have a few more screenings coming up over the next few months, after which Beauty In A Fall will be launched online for free through @storyhive on YouTube. In the meantime, the film is touring with @nomanslandfilmfestival and @womensadventurefilmtour across North America. You can also rent the film through @banffcentre online!
