From bold installations to unexpected moments of inspiration, this is your sign to look a little closer @rockefellercenter this summer! ❤️

For her first presentation in New York City, artist @catladdymaddonna transformed the iconic public spaces of Rockefeller Center into immersive fields of color and light. Presented by @artproductionfund and Rockefeller Center, this exhibition marks the first of the 2026 iteration of the #ArtInFocus public exhibition.

Viewers will discover Wall’s photography and abstract imagery in the public spaces of 45 Rockefeller Plaza, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 50 Rockefeller Plaza, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, and 1 Rockefeller Plaza.

Every May, NYC Planning celebrates 520 Miles of Waterfront with free tours that explore the city’s shoreline and waterways. We’re shining a light on one of the gems along the way.

Here are five fun facts you might not know about Hunters Point:

1. It’s home to the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show, lighting up the East River every summer.

2. If you want a beautiful waterfront home, Hunters Point features over 2,000 affordable housing units, with a total of 5,000 planned.

3. It’s where you’ll find the iconic Pepsi-Cola sign, a designated NYC landmark glowing over the waterfront.

4. The Hunters Point Historic District preserves 19th-century row houses that hint at the area’s pre-industrial past.

Did you know New Yorkers are carrying more than $90 billion in student debt?

Summer, a Partnership Fund portfolio company, lessens that burden by helping borrowers navigate federal and state forgiveness programs and identifying savings they may not have known about otherwise.

Summer first proved their model with NYC’s largest financial institutions as part of our FinTech Innovation Lab in 2020. The Partnership Fund invested in the company to grow their New York operations and help even more consumers tackle student debt.

Investing in a companies like Summer is just one of the ways we’re expanding opportunities for all New Yorkers.

Founded by @bettemidler in 1995, the New York Restoration Project has planted trees, restored gardens and parks, and transformed city spaces into beautiful community havens that connect us back to nature.

Meet Michael Horwitz, Public Programming Manager at @nyrp, who’s helping put 3,750 free native trees into the hands of New Yorkers at Tree Giveaway events throughout the city. From Pawpaw to American Persimmon to Flowering Dogwood, these trees will cool blocks, clean air, and grow neighborhood canopy where it’s needed most.
