In October, @leon_ransmeier invited designer @fabien.cappello to lead a workshop at the @cranbrook_art introducing students to the traditional Mexican craft of hojalatería. “The question becomes: How can we develop a contemporary language through an understated technique?" says Ransmeier.
The work culminated in a series of functional household objects crafted from thin metal sheets, all of which are on view in the MillerKnoll Archives Silo and now at @maharamstudio NYC showroom during NYCxDESIGN.
