some films take a while to be ready. sometimes what keeps you going is just that - the impossible hope of trying. we filmed Νίκη back in 2022 when the world was still missing a turn (and perhaps i was too). three years later, i return to @dramafilmfestival and excited to share this film and all i learnt with the world.
some of the things i learnt: @flomarix is made of stardust and @eltopalidou is an immeasurable talent beyond words - @melentini transposes emotions into music (even when it’s to recreate a classic by @tsaligopouloueleni) and images flow out of @koukoulios like poetry. infinite gratitude to @abfab_productions and @kiwivi for seeing what no one else would see and helping this film come to life.

one year later 🇨🇾
this little film - a love song about the unification of our home country - and no words can express how overwhelmingly moving the response has been from audiences around the world. in the current political climate, we can’t forget that we are all cut from the same cloth.
