It’s fitting that Mosaku’s watershed role is steeped in so much mysticism, because throughout any conversation with her she regularly refers to the divine. “My name, Oluwunmi, is like, ‘God is attracting me’, or ‘I desire God’,” the actress explains. “Mosaku means ‘I run from death’. I see it as not like you’re scared of death, but that it doesn’t come easily to you. My grandma lived until she was 119.”
