Ok late post but you know I had2 hit the fakeout for the new year, but .. here comes the real deal.

First off, the world is quite f*cked up rn. All over the globe, in so many ways, the human race is hurting and in a state of turmoil. The least we can do is continue to keep sharing information and reposting where we can. It’s easy to think “what does this actually achieve and so why bother posting anything”, as from time to time I myself have wondered… but now more than ever it is crucial, as here in USA our first amendment rights (and many others for that matter) are actively being tested and compromised, as citizens in Iran are being silenced and shut out from the internet, as we all live amongst intense propaganda & AI-generated uncertainty distorting the interpretation of reality everywhere. Keep sharing information and reposting what you see, hear, or read, for the same reasons you would go out and vote for your elected officials. As trivial as it may sound, your voice on the internet can be used to help yourself, your community, and others.

All things considered, what else do we have to remind us of our humanity in the midst of all this depressing shyt? Thankfully, we have art and creativity. Despite 2025 being an utter hellride, I am happy to have been a part of many musical projects that have all been precious to me in one way or another. Toured a bunch, released a friggen album, wrote a solo album, kicked it w many old friends, and made so many new friends. Thank you to everyone who I’ve had the opportunity to make music with in 2025, you know who you are and I got mad love 4 ya’s in these tryin times. It’s been a gift.

Some of the highlights from this year … 🙂

1. Zsela - KEXP Live Session
2. Kimbra - Halloween (Live)
3. Sharpie Smile - Love or Worship music video
4. Rahill - Live at Highland Park TV
5. Deradoorian - Ready for Heaven
6. Sedona - live on The Best Show w/ Tom Scharpling
7. Coffin Prick album release
8. Sharpie Smile first US tour
9. Cole Berliner solo ft. Laena Myers
10. a golden oldie

Guitar and bass lines push and pull with glacial room signal glow, an emerging ambient-adjacent form. Like an ‘80s Kottke session at ECM! Synth patches rise into the chiaroscuro atmosphere, drawing chemtrails behind in the analog keyboard dawn begins. A yin-yang infinity concluding with a sudden, last chattering of soundwaves dispersing through the electroacoustic mist.

Cole Berliner’s “The Black Door” is out May 29 - listen to two tracks at the link in our bio!
