Back at it with another fall favorite! Braising is one of my go-to methods this time of year. Got my beef short ribs from @marcheatwater, as always. Braised them for 4 hours with squash and zucchini in my Cocotte from @zwilling_ca (obsessed with the color) and served with creamy polenta! Also a huge fan of the new chef’s edition EVOO from @terradelyssa - highly recommend!

Liam (@ChefLiamLewis) is a dynamic culinary talent based in Montreal, known for his passion for food and storytelling. Starting his journey at just 10 years old with a food blog, Liam quickly connected with chefs, bakers, and farmers, sparking a lifelong love for cooking. His mission is to inspire families and young cooks to step into the kitchen with confidence and creativity.
Liam has honed his skills working alongside Canada’s top chefs, including Vikram Vij, Ned Bell, Nicole Gomes, and Bob Blumer, and training at prestigious institutions such as the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and University of British Columbia. Currently the Garde Manger of Elena in Montreal, he also co-hosts Gusto TV’s Generation Cooks, debuting in December 2024, aimed at making cooking fun and accessible for all ages.
A passionate advocate for food security, Liam supports Soup Sisters and Second Harvest, hosts charity dinners, and collaborates with brands like Chef’s Plate. He has received the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals’ Educational Leadership Award and contributes to cookbooks.
Liam’s goal is to inspire the next generation of cooks and prove that food is a universal language that brings people together, one delicious dish at a time.
