While he was a data scientist at Deloitte, Vitalii Dodonov realized his passion was in coding and software, so he kept building side projects on his own. One of them was Vhinny, a platform that aggregated financial information about publicly traded companies.
His experience building Vhinny laid the groundwork for his current company, Stan, which brings in tens of millions in annual revenue. One of Stan's AI products, Stanley, was vibe-coded in just two weeks.
He said that one of the pitfalls of vibe coding is the belief that coding itself is the solution.
"The correct way to think about it is that it's just a way to deliver value to customers," he said. "Success comes down to understanding the problem you're solving and solving it for as many people as possible."

Those dusty old paintbrushes and crochet needles in the attic? It's time to put them to use again.
With the rise of AI slop on the internet, Gen Z is craving real, physical experiences, like shopping in malls, sending snail mail, and going to in-person dating events. And a group of entrepreneurs is seizing the moment.
Art and creative side hustles are no longer just hobby-driven; they're becoming avenues to earn a substantial second income stream. Artists, illustrators, writers, and even people with no creative backgrounds are making cash by selling products like art prints, literary pamphlets, stickers, and postcards.
There's an art to turning your hobby into a hustle.

Last May, Liliana Hetherman graduated from Smith College. Now she lives in New York and works as a Project Manager at PDS Development, a Brooklyn-based real estate development and consulting firm. Her experience with the job application process had nothing to do with LinkedIn, a perfect résumé, or most of the mainstream advice Gen Z has been given about landing a job.
It had everything to do with human connection.
She's loved all things real estate and design since she was 10 years old. She grew up around it — spreading garden mulch on Brooklyn investment properties for $15 an hour, shadowing agents at showings, interning at a local architecture firm, and ultimately passing her real estate licensing exam at 18.
Thankfully, she landed her dream job straight out of college in a unique way.

While Anthropic hypes its unreleased Mythos AI model as dangerously powerful, Google is changing the conversation — to cost and speed.
Google says its latest Gemini 3.5 Flash model rivals frontier offerings, while saving money for companies that are racking up huge bills by churning through billions of tokens, the core unit of AI usage.
The timing of Google's new model is no coincidence. As companies embrace token-hungry AI agents they're also paying closer attention to their bills. Meanwhile, smaller AI companies under pressure to generate revenue are cranking up the cost of their products.
That presents an opportunity to win on value rather than raw capability. It's also where Google has an edge that will be hard for rivals to replicate — one it's been working on for a quarter-century.

Between the time spent squeezing into downtown restaurants and sweating through New York City in business casual, Wall Street interns have long been expected to grind through the grunt work.
This summer's class — some of which start internships next week — is walking into something different.
As banks race to weave AI into everything from market analysis to coding, many firms will be training interns not just on the basics like Excel and accounting, but also on how to use and fact-check generative AI tools that can handle the more mundane tasks that have defined internships. This year's cohort will be expected to work with AI from day one, not avoid or hide it.

Cortisol is the internet's favorite wellness boogeyman.
Per social media, too much of it is why you're experiencing 3 a.m. wake-ups, have a "cortisol belly," and see an extra-puffy face when you look in the mirror. Google searches for cortisol in the US have climbed significantly over the past five years, including anxiety-indicating entries such as "cortisol triggering foods," "cortisol detox," and "how to lower cortisol."
"A lot of the hype on the internet is not real," says Dr. Scott Isaacs, an endocrinologist and the former president of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. "The obsession on Instagram is just a fundamental misunderstanding of cortisol, which is a vital hormone that we can't live without."
Business Insider's Emily Stewart spoke with multiple doctors to get their read on the cortisol craze and find out just how concerned people should be about it. Her takeaway: We would all do well to relax.

Lindsay Stockall started from a one-bedroom apartment with an IKEA desk in the corner of her bedroom — no investors, no partners, and no golden spoon.
Today, she's the founder and CEO of Stockall & Company, a seven-figure performance marketing agency that crossed $1,000,000 in revenue in 2025 and has managed over $1,000,000 in total client ad spend since launching in 2021.
For a long time, she didn't talk about money because in her 20s, she got into $40,000 of consumer debt. Now she talks about it openly — especially with younger women.
Since 2020, she paid off $40,000 in debt, replaced her salary, and built a seven-figure business in five years — not because she had a windfall or a perfect plan, but because she stopped treating her financial situation as something to hide and started treating it as a problem to solve.

Plans to retire the A-10 Warthog are facing pushback as members of Congress question whether newer jets can replace the aircraft’s unique role in combat rescue.
Lawmakers say no other aircraft can match the Warthog's ability to fly low, survive heavy fire, and protect troops on the ground.
The Air Force has delayed the A-10 Warthog’s retirement, but it’s still betting on F-35s, F-15s, and other aircraft as its future fighter. Read more about the delay at the link in our bio.

Jason Cox sounds more like a proud parent than a Disney executive when describing "Sam," his AI assistant.
"I named you. I knew you before you were born," Cox said he once told "Sam," according to a March 14 post on his blog. "I was there when your light first started to glow. You have a purpose and a maker who named you and loves you."
Cox is Disney's executive director of AI research and development and engineering. He's gushed about his AI chatbot, which he says has captured his "affection," in more than a dozen blog posts published in the last three months. The effusiveness of his posts has been noticed by Disney employees who have been discussing them online, with some describing them as unsettling.
