Welcome to Simple Things 2026.

We return on Saturday 7 November 2026 for our 12th edition - and we’re doing things a little differently this time.

For the first time ever, we are handing over the reins to some special headline talents who’ll curate their own portion of the 2026 lineup. We are incredibly excited to reveal our first guest curators: experimental heroes @squidbanduk, visionary composer @shabakahutchings, who will both also perform live, and Turner Prize-winning artist @jeremydeller. We also have a very special guest curator to announce.

Joining them in our first wave announcement is a massive cross-section of alternative, electronic and avant-garde innovators, including: @a_good___year @carolinetheband @chanel_beads @fineglindvad @joy_guidry @lord_spikeheart_777 @loukeman @mgnacrrrta @mietzeconte @mykkiblanco @pva_are_ok @cardopusher@tonybontana @uglyofficialuk @zzzahara.wav

As ever, we’re taking over Bristol for one unforgettable day of music, returning to beloved spaces like @bristolbeacon, @strange_brew_bristol, and @sportsman.bar Plus we’re excited to announce a brand new venue for 2026: @shredenhams , the former Debenhams department store turned skatepark.

Designed alongside the creative team at @crackmagazine, this year’s ‘Future Fossils’ theme explores the resilience of independent music spaces. Come and be a part of it.
