I know yall know me for music vids and commercials but behind the scenes i’ve been taking the time to hone my craft as a storyteller, studying the greats while moving at my own pace.

since I became a U.S. citizen a few years back, I’ve been blessed with the privilege of traveling to so many parts of the world 🌎 which completely shifted my perspective on life. it shaped the exact stories I want to tell, who I want to become and the type of creators I want to build with

to be premiering our film at such a prestige film festival is a surreal feeling for someone like me who spent nearly 3 decades undocumented in America.

I still get lit up by moments like this… people will smile in your face and vanish the second the money dries up. But every once in a while, God puts someone real in your path. For me, that was @anthonymandler

I’ll never forget watching Rihanna’s Diamonds video and thinking, “ayo, why this frame so skinny?” Anamorphic magic that made me say, “this is what I want to do.” Mandler’s “As Long As You Love Me” by Justin Bieber inspired the concept to my $7,000 Russ Pull The Trigger video back in 2016 and the reason I shot it with anamorphic lenses. I’ve never been a hater… if you’ve poured into me, whether we speak today or not, I’m going to give you the credit. That’s my magic power.

Til this very day… only one director ever let me shadow him on set. I hit Anthony way more than 16 times before he answered. In 2022, I bought my own ticket to Mexico, didn’t know where he was or if he’d even show. Two days later, he hit me. “Meet me for dinner.” And it’s been UP ever since.

Anthony, you know how I feel about you beyond the Internet, but I gotta give you your flowers publicly. In a time where the world tries to divide us, a white Jewish man changed an undocumented Latino immigrant from Venezuela in search for opportunity — not for clout, not for work, but for character. That’s rare. I’ll forever be thankful.

This man is the blueprint. From Jay Z, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Eminem, Drake to David Beckham, Apple, films on Netflix & Amazon. He’s done it all. Anthony, thank you for being in my life and most importantly also providing opportunities to my childhood friends @joanpabon_ @andres_lombardi_

I remember being 26 years old staring at the wall in my room praying that things turn, still living with my parents, undocumented, praying that a rapper im working with would just give me a million dollars😂(never happened) no bookings or leads coming in, feeling stuck, broke with no money, faking it till I “made it”, got cheated on, no industry relationships, frustrated seeing others less talented and wayyy less hard working than me get more opportunities.

God really had a plan for me. im so glad i trusted the work I put in, went from thinking everything is going to change in one single moment to focusing on the small wins along the way and keeping the same hunger from when I first started. Believing in yourself is really everything… my dreams are coming true daily at this point. What a crazy world ❤️ so so so grateful. Thank you God!
