This July we’re looking forward to welcoming Beckview Studios over from Scarborough for a Summer evening celebrating some of the brilliant independent music being made across North Yorkshire.

We’re a fair way from the coast here at Pealie’s Barn, so it felt like a nice idea to bring together two different corners of the county for a relaxed night of live music, good food and a few drinks in the Barn.

We’ll have wood-fired pizzas on through the evening, local drinks at the bar, and music running from 7pm onwards on our beautiful Courtyard stage.

Our headliner for the next live lounge is @tc.kylie !! The Hong Kong / UK composer and keyboardist will be taking us on sonic journey through her set of cinematic jazz!

We cannot wait for this lounge to come around, it’s going to be a proper good night of original live music. If you want to be in the room as it happens you can buy tickets from the studio website but be quick as they’re going fast! Come be part of the live studio audience…

We’ve heard that Hull based band @thefroot have secured a place on this years @greatescapefest line up!

It’s so cool to see a band who have played in our studio and even better from the North Yorkshire/Humber area playing along side so many other great northern artists on this years bill. The north is coming for a takeover, we can feel it.

A very quick teaser of the day we spent in @beckviewstudios finishing recording a new track 'The One You Run To', which has been penned by the new line-up and was previewed at the 'Hearts and Minds' album launch gig last weekend.
