Live music always gave me the community I never knew I needed. Parking lot mosh pits, camo shorts and band tees, sing alongs and stage dives, the miles driven and hours spent in our parents cars. It took a while for me to realize how those moments and friendships would shape who I am today. That wasn’t until Love on Tour.

People sometimes ask me what if feels like to being at a HSLOT show. The community that you all have created. It’s the same, but different.

Parking lot mosh pits turned into campground satellite stomps, camo shorts to boa’s, black x’s to nail polish, stage dives to boot skoot’s, long drives to planes and trains. It’s a different planet in a parallel universe. Not perfect, but pure. A place to make the music what it needs to be for you. To make meaning out of nothing and everything.Thank you for letting me laugh, dance, and cry with you.

Ihad the absolute pleasure of spending the last year with @stella.blackmon trying to bottle that feeling up into 3 minutes and 33 seconds. Traveling to 4 continents, countless countries, crossing off cities I never thought I’d see. Thank you for opening yourselves up to us, allowing us into your homes and hearts. Thank you @harrystyles for bringing us along this wild ride, for changing my life, and for being the foundation of the community I’ve been able to be apart of for the past two years. Massive thanks to the touring crew and film crew for being a big part of this. Impossible without you all. I’m so incredibly proud of this film and It took a whole ass fucking village to make it. Hoping to stage dive at the next harry show. Love on Tour forever.❤️

Today marks my 31st time around the sun and I’ve been given the best gift. the chance to share something dear to my heart. Not some shit for a band or a brand. But something for you. My dear friend, distant acquaintance, neglected family member, or occasional stranger who looks at my work.

this piece came from a need for routine in a time of uncertainty, to connect with friends that we weren’t allowed to see and to make sense of the situation we found ourselves in. @mitchdequilettes and I spent the first two months of quarantining calling our friends and filming over 40 people through their windows. Some friends, some strangers, Sometimes shouting through windows, sometimes directing over the phone. Some scenes were set up, some scenes were complete chance and luck.

And we were sure lucky enough to have some help from some talented friends. @jimbosaggins did original music and put together everything using instruments and objects laying around his apartment, mike oconnor did the sound design, which he recorded on his weekly quarantine walks, @mordukhay were not only featured in the title card/ending shot, but also designed all the graphics too. Last but not least @florence.fka.whitelist aka @mrjeradw and @iamallimaxwell helpedpush us across the finish line to give you this. This thing.

This thing, this film, this time capsule is a reminder to myself to cherish the time we get spend together, even if it’s brief. and to remind you that even if we dont see each other as much I think of you often. Thank you for another year.
