And what a ride life has been so far.
There’s been more love and beauty on my path than 27-year-old me would ever believe, and every dream 17-year-old me ever had, I’ve already lived.
Though, for a 37-year-old me, it is not enough. I want more, not for myself, but for you. Every ounce of joy I have ever experienced I hope you find twofold. I want my freedom to be yours to experience, whoever or wherever you are.
I want the mess that is this modern life to become something better for all of us.

And so this is where 37 starts for me.
My thirst is as endless as it ever was.
But things feel different this time around.

👹 I’m over the moon that the new @_mssln_ track just dropped, which features a couple of words from yours truly. 👹
To say I’m a big fan of these guys would be an absolute understatement. I was lucky enough to meet JB on the Igorrr x Amenra tour, and I just spent night after night being blown away at what an absolute powerhouse of a vocalist and great human he is.

We shot this video the day after Doodseskader played Aix-En-Provence earlier this year, got to meet the other guys who have absolutely stolen my heart as well, and to be honest, watching them track their parts for this video just made me REALLY want to see them play live.
Big thanks to @yann.lcr_ for making this gem of a video.

Over the past two years, I’ve been struggling a lot, partly with myself and partly with this life. After a while, I came to understand that the part of me that is broken is something that just is. I can’t help it, nor can I fix it. It doesn’t really matter. It just is.
What does matter is that this world feels increasingly foreign to me.

I don’t feel like I belong, or to put it more bluntly: I don’t want to belong to this world. It is ugly. It chews people up, spits them out, and just keeps spinning. We close our eyes to amounts of suffering that are absolutely unacceptable. We choose comfort over morality. We forget and move on. We accept our own suffering because that is just how life is supposed to be. So they say. We’ve put love on a leash and allow hatred to have free rein.

I don’t want to pretend I am something to look up to, or that I have more answers than anyone else. I’m just a guy. I made 10 songs with my best friend. Every minute of this record, every sentence is a reflection of who I am and what I truly think. I hope you find in it what you need most.

In less than a month, a brand-new adventure and phase of my life will begin. We’ll be heading out to play our new record “The Change Is Me,” and as I’m writing this, I’m on a diet of no sleep, endless amounts of work, non-stop financial nightmares, and almost no contact with friends or the outside world for almost two years now. It’s taken a lot - yet somehow I feel more eager, more excited, and more determined than I ever have.

Even if you’ve seen us 10 times already, this is something else. Not just because of the setup, the visuals, or the songs. It’s a feeling thing.

I’d like to genuinely thank everyone who has gotten their tickets in advance or preordered our record. You guys truly are what keep us afloat, and this is something that is at the forefront of my mind every single day.

There is no me without you. And so I aim to give you the best version of me that I possibly can.

So, I guess this is where I say I hope to see you all soon?
