Started the session off with some control and pressure concepts, including the double shovel side control and the north/south diaphragm digger.

Then we responded to their framing and rolling away to retreat from the double shovel to turtle up with a truck entry for the top player.

After that we worked on some of the Miriam Adelson Sweep details from last week, along with the Jiu Trap and the Crucifix Twister.

If they create a strong base after the bottom player wins the under hook against the top player’s Judo Side to put them into the useless Caudill Cop Clinch, then we hit them with the lockdown on their backside leg to enter the truck.

Hope to see everyone again next Sunday at 11 AM! Open Mat was packed today! Let’s keep up the momentum.

We went over some Dagestani handcuff concepts from standing before we got into using the Dagi for the Miriam Adelson sweep. 🤑

After the sweep, you put them in the Jiu Trap because the Jiu Trap is on the way to the Crucifix. 🤓

Then I showed them the Crucifix Twister. 🌪️
