Community is everything to me.

From NYC to London, Lagos to ATL and of course the DMV…my tribe around the world stays tapped in with each other via @whatsapp (admittedly, my response times are a work in progress…dont judge me lol).

The Battle of Jollof 2024 was a MOVIE 🎥‼️

With Ghana 🇬🇭 and Nigeria 🇳🇬 going head to head in Basketball, Music and The Jollof Rice competition. This was a celebration of African culture and unity, while exhibiting several aspects of our roots.

Not limited to Nigeria and Ghana, with attendees from 20 different African countries🌍, as Senegal🇸🇳and Liberia🇱🇷 also participated in the Jollof Rice Competition.

To all our participants, guests, sponsors and everyone that came out for The Battle of Jollof, We Thank You!

Nigeria became two-time Basketball🏀Champions🏆and Ghana retained their Jollof Rice bragging rights 🍛for the fourth year in a row🏆

At my big age lol, I find myself more and more appreciative of the waking moments of each day.
