Évora_27 traz “Volume Sossegado” de Tim Etchells e Ant Hampton, à Biblioteca Pública de Évora @bpevora, de 2 a 9 de maio. A performance faz parte da programação da Capital Europeia da Cultura para o ano de 2026, integrando a Feira do Livro de Évora.

“Volume Sossegado” é um espetáculo sussurrado, pensado para apenas duas pessoas de cada vez.

Em cada sessão, dois participantes sentam-se lado a lado numa mesa e, através de dois mp3, recebem pistas de palavras que os vão guiando ao longo da experiência.

Sem atores, nem palco, cada pessoa é conduzida a explorar, passo a passo, um percurso inesperado no meio de uma pilha de livros.

As sessões têm a duração de 60 minutos.

Évora_27 brings “Quiet Volume” by Tim Etchells and Ant Hampton to the Évora Public Library (@bpevora), from 2 to 9 May. The performance is part of the European Capital of Culture programme for 2026, also integrated into the Feira do Livro de Évora.

“Quiet Volume” is a whispered performance designed for only two people at a time.

In each session, two participants sit side by side at a table and, through two MP3 players, receive word prompts that guide them throughout the experience.

With no actors and no stage, each person is led step by step through an unexpected journey among a pile of books.

Each session lasts 60 minutes.

Entry is free. The registration form is available via the link in bio.

Évora_27 brings “Quiet Volume” by Tim Etchells and Ant Hampton to the Évora Public Library (@bpevora), from 2 to 9 May. The performance is part of the European Capital of Culture programme for 2026, also integrated into the Feira do Livro de Évora.

“Quiet Volume” is a whispered performance designed for only two people at a time.

In each session, two participants sit side by side at a table and, through two MP3 players, receive word prompts that guide them throughout the experience.

With no actors and no stage, each person is led step by step through an unexpected journey among a pile of books.

Each session lasts 60 minutes.

Entry is free. The registration form is available via the link in bio.
