20 years ago, Pony Dining opened inside one of The Rocks' historic buildings.

From the ironbark timber to the cowhide details throughout the space, every design choice helped shape the identity of Pony from the very beginning.

As part of our 20-year story, original designer Michael McCann reflected on the vision behind the restaurant that has now been part of The Rocks for two decades.
