Introducing Seona Myerscough who is exhibiting as part of ‘So Where Do We Go From Here?’ invited by @jenmooreprint and @elliereid.art of @changeable_beast
Seona makes sculptural assemblages combining handmade and found elements to create speculative devices exploring time, memory and uncertainty through absurd, low-fi constructions that sit between function and failure.
The Wormhole Detector is an instrument designed to locate fragments of the past and future, using improvised sensory components and unstable structures, gathering information to make sense of the present.

New Year sketching and making plans for new work… a bit of clowning, perhaps.
I’m interested in the absurdity of the clown — repetition, humour, and failure and how these become ways of persisting when meaning feels unstable and the world itself feels absurd.
