🖤 Reflections on My Cancer Journey🖤

This year has been a journey, to say the least. Battling cancer has shown me a lot about myself, my strength, and most importantly—this incredible industry we’re all a part of. 💇🏼‍♀️✨

To my badass clients: Your encouragement, love, and positivity pushed me forward on days when I didn’t think I could keep going. Thank you for showing me what true resilience looks like—you’ve kept me motivated in ways I can’t even explain. 💖

To my salon family: You are the most encouraging, beautiful blend of talent, love, and support. Every time I walked through the door, I instantly felt calm, like I could escape the fight I was going through, even if just for a split second. Being in the salon was my safe space, and you all reminded me why we’re in the best industry in the entire world. 🌍💫

What I’ve learned through this experience is that our industry is built on love and compassion. The relationships we form with our clients and our salon teams mean *everything*. And even while going through treatment, Sharing my knowledge gave me purpose, reminding me why I’m so passionate about what we do. ✂️

Coming back from treatment, I feel this pull to give back more than ever. I’m working on a few side projects for 2025—things I feel the hair industry truly needs—and I can’t wait to share them with you all. As always I want to support more women in our industry, mentoring the next generation. Because nothing like fighting for your life shows you that you’re in the right place. 💪🏼

On top of that, I want to give back to the cancer community, especially the women who lose their hair, brows, and lashes during treatment. As someone in the beauty industry, it hit me hard, and I realized how little support there is for us out there. I’m hoping to change that. 💕

Stay tuned —because this journey is far from over. 💫
