A 192-beam hemispherical LiDAR sensor delivering 360-degree spatial coverage at 1.72 million points per second. The Grid Extension brings live point cloud data directly into Grid Studio, enabling real-time spatial awareness across any monitored studio environment.
Configurable zones in Grid Studio trigger events based on point cloud activity, entries, exits, dwell, and movement between defined areas. No markers. No wearables. No bespoke infrastructure beyond the sensor itself.

@pixera.one Grid Extension & SP Lens Playback Partnership 🤝
At @nabshow, we are back with friends at Pixera, showing two ways SP Grid and Pixera work together, and how they solve different problems.
The Pixera Grid Extension connects SP Grid to Pixera media servers at the timeline, layer, and parameter level. Cue control, opacity, speed, transport mode, screen position, and calibration marker management are all accessible actions within a unified show control workflow.
Separately, Stage Precision and @avstumpfl have partnered to deliver SP Lens Playback natively within PIXERA. Create detailed lens profiles and camera alignment files in Grid Studio software, export them in their native format, and load them directly into PIXERA. No conversions, no middleware. The lens profile captures intrinsic photometric data across the full zoom and focus range. The camera alignment relocates the tracking system in relation to the screen in the physical world.
SP Lens Playback is available now as an addition to your PIXERA license.

Open standards matter. We're announcing native OpenTrackIO support in SP Grid 🎉
OpenTrackIO is the @smpteconnect RIS OSVP open standard for camera tracking and lens metadata, a common language that allows any compliant tracking source to communicate with any compliant system, without proprietary translation layers.
The OpenTrackIO Grid Extension brings this directly into the SP Grid environment. Studios building pipelines around open standards can connect their tracking infrastructure to SP Grid without custom integration work, and that connection stays current as the ecosystem evolves.
For the VP and broadcast community pushing for open, interoperable production pipelines, this is our joint commitment to that direction.
