Here’s my contest entry! 🎥 LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES!
Here was my thought process: GM’s mission is to DRIVE THE WORLD FORWARD, so I wanted to represent that mission not just as a tagline, but as a living, breathing rhythm.
Every beat, every cut, every prop, and every character was deliberately placed to show how progress doesn’t have to be cold or distant. Instead, it can feel warm, human, chaotic, and joyful — like friends around a campfire, making music together under the stars.
I turned the Chevy Silverado into a living member of the jam session: it sings, its headlights hit on the beat, its tailgate becomes a stage. The video loop is seamless because true progress never ends — it circles back, ready for the next adventure- Always.
— each of mycharacters represents a different facet of the human spirit that GM wants to empower: creativity, sustenance, connection, and pure good vibes.
This isn’t just a commercial. It’s a tiny film that says: the future of driving isn’t about leaving the world behind… it’s about taking the best parts of being human with us, and always DRIVING FORWARD 🫶🏽
