Teachers and library staff have been busy reading and choosing the very best, most fun and engaging books of 2025!

We have something for all ages, from tiny tots right up to young adults. You will be able to vote for your favourites in any Sheffield public library, so dive in and get reading!

There’s never a dull moment in Sheffield Libraries! Today we had a Teddy Bear’s Picnic to celebrate the National Year of Reading.

Full of teddy themed fun, games and books all created by library staff and enjoyed by children from a local school! The class bears have remained with us for a sleepover, so we’ll see what they get up to! 🫣
