I had a *sublime* lunch at the venerable @chelseaartsclub with my pal and bonafide music legend— John Porter. I’m friendly with John because he produces all of Jon Cleary’s records, but I’m close with John because he’s just a top notch guy.

This is a man who produced How Soon is Now?, Love is Hell, tons of Buddy Guy, B.B. King, a classic R.L. Burnside record… and a whole lot more. He’s an absolute monster gentleman, and if you don’t know about him, you should. He deserves his flowers.

The first ride of the Markey’s Ninth Ward House Band was a riot. Thanks for coming out, everyone. I hope y’all had as much fun as we did. I believe the bar did end up running out of Guinness… so that certainly suggests you did.
