Very special support: Hamburg's legendary analog effect act MARK BOOMBASTIK, who had his first concert with Dälek back in the days. Still, his teeth are strobe lights, his lips are millions of amps. His tongue is trillions of drum rolls!

Is it noise? Jazz? Free improv? Rock ‘n roll? Minimalism? Sound art? Punk? Mopcut third full-length is their most divergent, most genre liquefying statement yet, an album that creeps mischievously across the experimental scene at large, devouring its innovations and spitting away any lofty conceptual fat. With guest appearances from avant rap vanguard MC Dälek, ‘RYOK‘ (Heat Crimes, 2.5.25) oozes between various interconnected movements, constantly mutating and reanimating itself in the process.

One of Europe’s most bruising improvising groups will be performing at #JazzfestBerlin: @mopcut______ . The experimental trio blends the off-kilter funk of drummer @lukas________koenig , the paradigm-shifting vocals of @audrey.isabel.chen and the painterly guitar noise of @juliendesprez and they will be joined by a special guest, American rapper @daleknwk MC Dälek.

Prior to MOPCUT’s concert, guitarist @marcribotmusic will give a solo performance.
