Here’s a little taste of track I performed at @toronto_emom. I finally found the ultimate drum sequencer for making ModBap beats. Stolperbeats by @makingsoundmachines is so unique with tons of off-grid, Dilla-style timing possibilities and pattern editing. Paired with @modbapmodular Trinity for the flawless one-two punch, along with @qubitelectronix Mojave for that sample texture. Enjoy

I love this instrument. I play in some straight piano chords and set parameters, the machine writes the parts the way I like ‘em and I get to relax and ride the wave.

I have had the good fortune to get my hands on a Cwejman MMF-1s filter. The bounce on this thing is incredible! I used to play a student model saxophone and the first time I got my hands on a really nice horn I was struck by how much easier it was to coax nice sounds out of the thing. This filter has a really similar feeling.

Bitwig continues to surprise and delight.
